At HESSPEA Plant-Based Cooking & Hospitality our mission is to create a culturally immersive cooking & dining experience.
Whether you are a local or Airbnb traveler, a great meal on a vacation helps make the trip that much more memorable. That's why our hospitality goes beyond cooking. As a Certified ServSafe® Instructor & Proctor with both the National Restaurant Association and the California Restaurant Association, we are a alcohol & food safety training partner for hospitality professionals.
There's nothing better than a well-balanced cultural experience to pair with a home-style cooked meal made from locally sourced vendors. Cooking up delicious plant-based food isn't our only priority, as food justice advocates, we're inspired by a diverse and more inclusive food system.
Located at the Anaheim Packing District inside the historic Anaheim Packing House. Our cooking classes promote a plant-based lifestyle through the rich food traditions influenced by the beautiful regions of Africa, West Indies, South America, and the American South. We groove and listen to the music that connects us with the food--Reggae, Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, Jazz, Zydeco, African, Afro-Brazilian Rhythm, and World Music. Classes are seasonal (January - August).
